Kevin Sweepe's objective
for serving his customers is simple. "When
the homeowner moves into the home, we want
to be out of the picture," Sweepe
explains. Now that may seem obvious,
but Sweepe, president of KMS Homes, Inc.,
is meticulous about making sure the home
is totally finished and ready for the customer.
Sweepe
recognizes that the best way to maintain
a solid reputation is to maximize customer
satisfaction. "It's inevitable
that your customer will tell 20 or more
others how satisfied they are with their
builder, or how dissatisfied they are," Sweepe
relates.
The
builder's reputation is especially important
in smaller communities, such as Bush Point
on Whidbey Island. Although KMS Homes,
Inc. has recently finished custom homes
from Tacoma to Mt. Vernon and from Redmond
to Whidbey Island, the company has built
five homes in Bush Point in the last three
years.
